We went to our favorite park the other day and of course I went with camera in hand. I am trying to get in the habit of unloading my camera every evening before I go to bed. Have you ever counted the amount of pictures, total, you’ve taken with your camera? I took more than 10,000 pictures on my last camera after having it almost eight years. I’m sure it won’t take that many years to accumulate that amount on this camera. I am a picture taking fool.
Whenever my kids see a camera in my hand, they get into position and pose. Sometimes, I am able to catch them unaware, but it’s not too often.

Lily saw me coming and I of course figured she was posing. I mean that is what you’re supposed to do when you see a camera pointed in your direction; that or quickly throw a bag over your head.

She’s a poser when it comes to taking pictures so I thought she was just giving me what she had. Lily is always ready for a close up.

It was here that I realized something more than looking cute and taking pictures was on her mind.

I didn’t want to rush her so I gave her a moment.

She needed just a little more time so I waited.

“Ah Mommy, I called you over here not to take a picture but because I need your help to get down.”

That’s so cute. LOL! Her being stuck wasn’t the first thing that popped into my mind either.
That was awesome!
I love it! Poor Miss Lily stuck up on the monkey bars Smilin, Stylin, and Profilin!
I think I took about 500 pictures on the first day when I got my new camera.
