My New Best Friend

I never considered myself a really good friend because I was bad at calling, writing, basically, just keeping in touch. I mean, I think I’m pretty nice and fun to hang out with. If you wanted something of what I’m eating and enjoying, then I would be more than happy to buy you your own, so you too could have the pleasure because if I have cupcakes (or cake), then I’m probably not going to share.

Well, for the next week, I’ve found a new best friend. She doesn’t expect a telephone call, will only talk to me while I’m in the car, and She can’t eat cupcakes, which is good because, like I said, I’m not sharing.

I’m going to call her “She” because there is no need of us becoming too familiar since we’re only going to be best friends for about one week. She doesn’t even know my name, but I hear She has lots of other people claiming to be her “best friend” too because she has so much information.

She offers advice as to where I should go in life.

Warns me about certain obstacles I may come across.

Yes, just like any friend, we have disagreements and She refuses to talk to me, but then we make up.

Friends are good to have because it can get pretty lonely out there.

I’m Curious: What tool, resource, etc. are you currently unable to live without?
