Lily finally got her first library card. Well, it isn’t really her first card, but it is the first one where she filled out her own application. Now, she can go crazy reading to her heart’s desire.

My kids love the library also!
A proud moment for a kid…and the look on her face says she is thrilled AND proud. LOVE it!!

My WW link for you
Now that IS a big deal! She’s so proud!
Now be sure you save this and recreate it for other special moments, say license to drive?
My favorite book at that age was Mr. Popper’s Penguins.
Alright Lily! Let the reading begin!!!
Way to go!! We love the library. My favorite book at that age was The Secret Garden.
That’s awesome. I remember my first card. Just make sure she understands what a late fee is. I’m 28 and I still have a problem with that one. Oh wait… that’s why renew online
She looks so proud! Very cute!
Aw! Congratulations to her! My favorite book is Emma.
I love that smile and those dimples. I like the suggestion from DogsMom, that is to continue to take pictures of these special moments, such as her getting her driver’s license.
How fun! I really should do the same for my son except he always brings home a ton of books from school. We have a pretty big library here in our little town and I have yet to go in there and check it out.
Congratulations, Lily. How wonderful of Mommy to record this moment. You can read and write! Wonderful! My favorite book is Little Women. When I lived in Connecticut, I visited Louisa May Alcott’s home in Concord. Lily, what is your favorite book – so far?
