To most people, this isn’t a surprise because this is a mum and mums often grow during this time of the year.



What I want to make note of is the fact that these beautiful flowers didn’t just pop out. They had to grow at some time between whenever they started growing and now and somehow I missed everything up to this point.



The only reason I noticed them this time is because Lily pointed them out to me one day after returning home. I’ve noticed beautiful mums growing in everyone else’s yard and missed them literally right in front of my face. In my defense, they were on the side of the house where I don’t often go, but obviously is an area in which the children are familiar.



I’m so glad they notice the little and most beautiful things like these. Lily found this miniature rose in the backyard and knew exactly where it belonged.
